Do I need a License?Yes, a California real estate license is required of all Business Brokers. Many of our new Business Brokers start with us and get their training & orientation while they get their real estate license.

What are my costs as a Business Broker?Sunbelt pays for your operational support. You pay for business cards, postage for your mailings, Auto expenses and any additional marketing costs above the basics promotions the office provide.s

Where do good Business Brokers come from?While our Brokers come from all “walks of life”…many of our successful team have sales, or financial backgrounds and many have been past business owners.

Will I be trained?We have one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry, a combination of initial education, ongoing weekly advanced programs, a mentor program where each new broker works one on one with our managing broker/owners and support for programs provided through our industry associations (CABB & IBBA).

How am I compensated?This is a commission based position; most Business Brokers take 4 to 6 months to start generating commissions. While the range of compensation varies greatly, the best Brokers in the industry earn over $500,000 per year. A good broker can comfortably earn a good six figure income if they are diligent and hard working.
